We enjoyed reconnecting with some of the UMC’s brightest and best! The 2012 Readiness 360 seems to resonate and resource congregations in ways we didn’t even imagine. We will be excited to share with you the wide variety of applications judicatory leaders are creating in the months to come.
The Readiness 360 helps churches discover their possibility to multiply.
It helps bridge the gap between where you are and your future communities of faith.
Your answers begin here.
The Readiness 360 was conceived by a church planter in 2008, developed in 2009 by Path 1’s desire to assess and grow partner churches so that the health and survival rate of new church births would improve. The initial online survey was designed based on experience, autopsies and preliminary research about characteristics of multiplication movements. The survey was designed as a 360—providing a multi-perspective view of a congregation’s readiness to multiply. Several churches and congregational developers pioneered the alpha process and found it a valuable part of the discernment and equipping process.
Our vision is to offer clients tools so that every church becomes an active participant in God’s plan to multiply faith communities that transform lives and change the world.
In this dynamic era, churches need to have nimble leadership and cultural readiness in order to advance Christ’s impact in the world. It is not enough to “grow the church” we need to multiply disciples in ministry. We believe that any church can reclaim this foundational DNA of the Jesus movement.
